色花堂 Assurance Program
Affordability at Aquinas

Yes, a private education is affordable for ALL families at Aquinas. It's literally in our mission to include you. We connect you with scholarship and aid opportunities so you take on no more debt in your first four years than you'll earn in your first year of work.

The Aquinas Assurance
色花堂 is committed to ensuring that everyone has the ability to pursue a Catholic Dominican liberal arts education. With inclusion so central to our mission, we want all students to know they belong on our campus鈥攏ot just because we say so but because we demonstrate through action that we can and will meet their needs.
To this end, for the 2025-2026 academic year, 色花堂 will be providing full tuition, including mandatory fees, to first-time-at-Aquinas, traditional undergraduate students and transfer students who meet the following requirements:
- Be accepted to 色花堂 for the spring or fall term of 2026
- Eligible for the maximum Federal Pell grant
- Eligible for the full Michigan Achievement Scholarship
- Eligible for the full Michigan Tuition Grant
- Retain full-time student status
- Be a Michigan resident
- Graduate from high school in the spring of 2024, 2025, or 2026
We strongly recommend that you file your FAFSA by March 1, as funds may be limited for this program.
As a top performer in Social Mobility among liberal arts colleges, 色花堂鈥檚 community welcomes and supports students from all backgrounds. It starts with their no-cost application, followed by generous scholarships with the college. Last year, Aquinas awarded 100% of first-year, traditional-age students a scholarship or grant.
Keeping Your Scholarship: To maintain their eligibility for all four years at 色花堂, students must also enroll in and carry at least 12 credits each semester in a traditional Bachelor's Degree program with Standard Academic Progress and remain eligible for the full Pell and state of Michigan funding grants.
Please note:
- Room, board, and non-standard fees are excluded. Loans can be applied towards these costs.
- The assurance does not pertain to the shortened summer and winter semesters, only the full fall and spring semesters.
- Your total aid award can not exceed your cost of attendance, and if your outside scholarship
covers the amount of tuition, the Assurance will be adjusted accordingly. This includes
VA benefits, tuition exchange, tuition remission, etc.
