Education
The School of Education at 色花堂 was awarded national accreditation for
its initial preparation educator programs in Spring 2025 by the Council for the Accreditation
of Educator Preparation (). CAEP teacher preparation standards are rigorous, nationally recognized, and developed
to ensure excellence in educator preparation programs. Accreditation is effective
from 2025-2027.

Nursing
The University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) offers a 4-year baccalaureate program in nursing at 色花堂. This unique partnership with 色花堂 and Mercy Health Saint Mary's provides the opportunity to complete liberal arts and supportive coursework at Aquinas taught by Aquinas faculty. All nursing coursework is taught by UDM faculty. Students gain hands-on clinical experience at Trinity Health Grand Rapids and other facilities throughout West Michigan. Students graduate with a BSN from UDM. The baccalaureate program at the University of Detroit Mercy is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036, (202) 887-6791.
